What you will be responsible for
We are seeking an experienced & enthusiastic Lean/QC Project Manager to oversee on-site lean and company metrics construction activities for our residential projects. The Lean/QC Project Manager will be responsible for managing Aro Homes’ field/site operations playbook and metrics, establishing new processes on capturing site operations feedback to be distributed to the factory/design teams and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have construction and continuous improvement (lean) construction background, excellent communication skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Track playbook metrics on site for continuous improvement with a continuous feedback loop to the factory and design team
- Lead Daily and weekly standups on site/field
- Oversee on-site construction lean tracking activities and personnel to ensure projects and according to quality standards
- Review and interpret project plans and specifications to ensure accuracy and adherence to building codes and safety regulations
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any construction issues or conflicts
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks, working with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies
- Maintain and update project schedules, communicating any changes or delays to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement safety training programs for on-site personnel
- Foster a positive work environment and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members
- Drive continuous improvement and the relentless pursuit of being better tomorrow than we are today
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in residential construction, with a focus on on-site supervision, quality control and project management
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
- Growth mindset
Preferred requirements and Qualifications
- Experience in a start-up or growth-stage company
- Experience with software development or project management
- Lean Experience, Continuous improvement
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification or equivalent
- Proficiency in construction management software
