What you will be responsible for:

This person provides friendly and welcoming HR support to our associates regarding a broad range of benefits, policy and payroll topics while maintaining an appropriate level of confidentiality. Successful candidates will be approachable, action-oriented, flexible problem solvers with great verbal and written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail. What you’ll do:

  • Be an enthusiastic, friendly, and professional agent to employees and prospective employees regarding People Team questions.
  • Benefits – Front end of benefits administration.
  • Enter and review employee information within HRIS and payroll systems timely and accurately.
  • Assist employees with basic IT/Systems questions like password resets and printing paystubs.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding processes, including review of company policies and the collection and processing of new hire paperwork.
  • Maintain employee records, ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as employee information, job classification, pay rates, organizational structure, and other vital items.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and practices regarding employment law and environment health and safety.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to associates and leadership on people practices, systems, and resources.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Who you are:

  • Enthusiastic professional capable of wearing many hats.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a high degree of confidentiality, diplomacy, and professionalism.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Elevated level of proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, and/or related software.
  • Sound judgment and ability to solve problems with excellent follow-through.
  • Exceptional time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to honor confidentiality.
  • Curiosity.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-4 years proven work experience as an HR Generalist, HR Administrator, or similar role preferably in a Manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
