The Senior Analyst – Financial reporting challenges in a Few Words:
In order to properly support our financial operations in an international scope, we are looking for an experienced Senior analyst – Financial reporting who will be responsible of the consolidated financial reporting and lead our monthly consolidation process. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining high quality financial information and contribute to the evolution of our processes and controls to support the growth of the Group.

As a Senior Analyst – Financial reporting your key accountabilities will involve:

Monthly consolidation process and financial reporting:
- Execute the consolidation of multiple entities in different currencies into the group financial statements in line with ASPE.
- Review the financial information of entities to ensure accuracy before consolidation.
- Participate in the monthly profit-sharing allocation calculation between profit centers.
- Ensure the financial results by region is adequately presented.
- Perform variance analysis on consolidated balance sheet and P&L and investigate and document significant discrepancies.
- Preparation of annual financial statements, including, footnotes and disclosures.
- Preparation of monthly internal reports for the FP&A group.

Corporate compliance:
Execute the transfer pricing strategy determined by the tax group in the consolidation financial statements.
Support the coordination of the group annual audit
Act as the point of contact for the North American audit teams.
Collaborate with external auditors to ensure the accuracy of consolidated financial statements and provide necessary documentation during annual audit.
Support financial needs of other compliance initiatives.

Complex & Technical accounting:
Participate in developing, documenting and communicating group-wide accounting policies in line with ASPE.
Support local finance teams in their understanding of the group accounting policies and help them identifying differences and how to account for them.
Assess the accounting implications of complex and non-routine transactions and prepare related documentations and memos.

Controls and process Improvement:
Collaborate closely with Accounting, Tax, and other corporate teams to ensure alignment in financial reporting.
Propose improvements to inefficiencies identified in consolidation and reporting processes and participate to their implementation.
Manage the Group’s chart of accounts in the financial reporting tools.
Build and maintain reports in the consolidation and reporting tools.
Qualifications
As a Senior Analyst – Financial reporting your experience and qualifications will include:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance,
Accounting certification CPA or equivalent.
5 years of financial accounting experience in a multinational environment, with multi-currency and intercompany transactions.
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), IFRS or ASPE
Experience in consolidation.
Experience using an ERP, D365 is an asset.
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel.
Detail-oriented and analytical.
Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic and collaborative environment
Strong communication abilities.
Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
Bilingual – Fluent in English and French, both spoken and written.
