Job Description
The Mechanical Engineer position in a few words:
According to customer requirements making DFM, mechanical design, elaborate drawing etc. Report to engineering manager
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for mechanical design of non-standard automation equipment and modules.
- Provide solutions that meet customer requirements and assist in organizational cost as well as accounting quotation.
- Strictly implement the project schedule and quality requirements; Conduct detailed design and related procurement according to project needs.
- Responsible for the R&D and design of equipment projects, making judgments on functional institutions, independently completing the selection of standard parts and calculation of design parameters.
- Process development, SOP production, inspection standards, material list, tooling mold, fixture development, mechanism design drawing.
- Collect, organize and file related mechanical and graphic materials, annotate drawings, and organize BOM.
- Responsible for solving technical problems in the operation of the equipment.
- Participate in project meetings such as Kickoff, DFM and weekly meetings.
- Report on the progress of the project to the project manager weekly.
- Explain mechanical drawings, functions and key points to technicians before assembly.
- Assist production in project assembly, commissioning, installation and after-sales service.
- Complete other tasks assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate in a few words:
- Education: University / College degree or above, major in mechanical design and automation related.
- Experience Have more than 4 years working experience in mechanical design of non-standard automation equipment and have the ability to design the whole machine.
- Knowledge & Skills
- Have the ability of independently undertake non-standard equipment program production, mechanical design, assembly and debugging of the whole process.
- Proficient in mechanical principles, mechanical processing technology, sheet metal processing technology, heat treatment and surface treatment technology, and have a deep understanding and cognition of non-standard automation equipment.
- SolidWorks Design using SolidWorks is a must.
- Able to quickly deal with unexpected problems of projects, serious and meticulous, strong sense of responsibility, and good team spirit.
- Strong organization, planning and problem-solving skills.
- Workable written and oral English.
