Job Description

The Customer Solution Architect challenge in a few words:

In the role of Customer Solution Architect, you are responsible for gathering the customer requirements, conceptualizing a multidisciplinary system architecture in response, and estimating execution costs and risks for delivering the project. This leads to formalizing the solution in a technical and commercial proposal document, together with the listing of associated deliverables, assumptions and exclusions. Throughout this process, you bridge together and help ensure the mutual success of the customer, as well as the Averna Powered by SPHEREA sales and delivery teams.

Your contribution in this role:

• You support the technical qualification of new opportunities and help establish Averna’s credibility as a partner for the project.
• You ask challenging questions, which enables you to offer our customers the optimal solution, which may differ from their original ask.
• You take the ownership of devising system architectures of automated test solutions for international customers in different high-technology industries.
• You think along from the very first customer contact, explore the requirements, manage the solution crafting process and build the proposal technical content.
• You have 'business sense' and help account managers defining the value proposition, key differentiators, and sales strategy for the offering, typically in the range $500k-$5M.
• Once the project is awarded, you support the transition with the project delivery team and stay in touch until the machine is delivered to the satisfaction of our customer, helping control the project scope and learning from mistakes and gaps.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate in a few words:

• Skilled: You are a highly experienced, multidisciplinary systems thinker with a degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Electronics or Software, or a similar background, combined with at least 10 years of relevant experience in avionics system testing, avionics architecture, verification and validation, or aircraft final assembly line environments.
• Technology Enthusiast: You are curious about new products, technologies, tools, instruments and trends of the industry.
• Analytic: You have a high tolerance to ambiguity, can exercise judgement and continuously assess and mitigate risks. You are a creative out of the box thinker with innovative ideas and technical solutions, never losing sight of the big picture.
• Self Motivated: You take ownership, show initiative, and are not afraid to make decisions.
• Eloquent: You know how to convincingly convey ideas and translate thoughts in visual representations, diagrams, flowcharts, etc.
• Relationship Builder: You create and maintain positive, long-term relationships with internal and external partners with ease.
• Polyglot: You are fluent (written & oral) in English and Mandarin.
