Job Description

Position Summary

Responsible for Mechanical assembly, integration, and support of automation machines, ensuring alignment with design and functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret 2D/3D mechanical drawings and assembly layouts
  • Perform mechanical assembly of automation machines, jigs, and fixtures
  • Work on pneumatic systems (cylinders, valves, FRL units, tubing)
  • Ensure proper alignment, fitment, and tolerance control
  • Support machine build, testing, and debugging
  • Coordinate with electrical and design teams for smooth integration
  • Maintain quality, safety, and 5S standards on shop floor
  • Identify issues and suggest improvements in assembly process

Qualifications

Skills & Requirements

  • Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and GD&T basics
  • Hands-on with assembly tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of pneumatics and basic automation mechanisms
  • Ability to work with jigs, fixtures, and precision assemblies
  • Basic understanding of automation systems and workflows
  • Good troubleshooting and analytical skills

Qualification & Experience

  • Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering /Product design
  • 2–3 years of experience in automation / machine assembly environment
