The Opportunity

Be our founding Account Executive and help electronics engineers sleep better at night. Cadstrom's AI-powered platform catches critical design errors before they become costly respins - and our customers are genuinely thrilled with this newfound superpower.
You'll work directly alongside technical founders who deeply understand customer pain, learning their approach while progressively taking ownership of the entire revenue motion. This isn't about pitching features - it's about building authentic relationships with engineering leaders who've felt the pain of launch delays and design errors. Your success will be measured by closed revenue, expanded accounts, and the scalable GTM foundation you build for future hires.

What Makes This Different

We're looking for someone who understands that engineers don't buy because of spec sheets - they buy because they've experienced real pain. You'll succeed through genuine curiosity, technical credibility, and story-based selling, not ritualized pitch decks. Think "What Great Salespeople Do" not "always be closing."

What You'll Do

Own the full cycle: Prospect, qualify, demo, pilot, close, and expand accounts with OEMs, design firms, and enterprises. Manage deal cycles with technical buying committees.
Build repeatable processes: Document what works, create playbooks, and establish the foundation for a scaled GTM organization as we transition from founder-led to repeatable revenue motions.
Drive revenue: Take full accountability for quota attainment through strategic account targeting, consultative discovery, and relationship-driven closing.
Shape GTM strategy: Partner with founders on messaging, positioning, pricing, and competitive strategy based on real market feedback.


Who You Are

Technical foundation: EE degree or equivalent background. You understand electronics design, validation workflows, respins, and the anxiety of wondering "did I miss something critical?" You can have credible conversations with senior level engineering leaders.
Revenue excellence: 3-5+ years in B2B technical account management with proven quota attainment. Full-cycle ownership from prospecting to close to account expansion. Experience with complex, multi-stakeholder deals in engineering tools/CAE preferred.
Startup DNA: Self-starting ownership. Extreme learning and adaptation. Bias toward action. Thrives in ambiguity. Resilient through rejection. Drives results through continuous optimization, not activity metrics.
Relationship mastery: Natural at building authentic, lasting connections. Genuine curiosity about customer challenges. Consultative approach focused on understanding deeply before positioning solutions. High emotional intelligence.
Growth mindset: Interest in progressing from learning founder-led approaches to owning the revenue motion to leading the GTM organization.

30 days: First collaborative deal closed, 50+ qualified independent new relationships built, founders shadowed, processes established

12 months: Quota achievement independent of founders, reference customer portfolio built, documented playbooks created, positioned to lead team buildout
