We are actively seeking a seasoned and strategic-minded Procurement Business Partner - GTM Services to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Procurement Director, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in sourcing high-quality and cost-efficient supplies and vendors for our organization. The role will contribute to building a culture of collaboration and agility to facilitate efficient growth and scalability.

Your primary responsibility will involve overseeing and optimizing the procurement process for marketing-related goods and services, assisting in developing our standard practices and compliance infrastructure, and managing relationships for both internal clients and suppliers to aid in the strategic selection of vendors.

Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement Planning:

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with organizational and marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate with the global marketing team to understand and anticipate procurement needs.

Supplier Management:

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with marketing vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to ensure the best value for the organization.
  • Regularly assess supplier performance and address any issues proactively.

Cost Optimization:

  • Analyze market trends, pricing, and cost structures to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Implement cost-effective procurement strategies without compromising quality or service.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with the global marketing team to provide clarity on the procurement process.
  • Maintain open communication channels to address any concerns and foster a collaborative environment.

Procurement Process Oversight:

  • Oversee end-to-end procurement processes for various marketing-related needs, including but not limited to:
  • Conferences, events, and exhibits
  • Production requirements
  • Field marketing initiatives
  • PR agencies
  • Brand marketing materials
  • Utilize a robust support network to streamline and optimize the purchasing process.

Budget Management:

  • Collaborate with the Procurement Director to manage budgets effectively.
  • Provide regular reports on budget utilization, cost savings, and procurement performance.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry regulations.
  • Mitigate procurement-related risks and develop contingency plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in procurement or sourcing strategies, tactics, processes, procedures, and systems - preferably in the marketing sector.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with marketing processes and industry trends.
  • Great attention to detail and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Expected base salary of $110,000- $130,000. This is a good faith estimate but does not include equity, bonus, commissions, or other forms of compensation. Pay will be by experience level, but those outside of the salary band are welcome to apply.
