About The Role
As an Assistant Controller at Claroty, you will play a key role in supporting the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will manage the end-to-end financial reporting process, oversee payroll operations, and contribute to the organization's overall financial health. Expected compensation for the role is between XXXXX. This is a good faith estimate but does not include equity, bonus, or other forms of payment. Pay will be determined by experience level, but those outside the salary band are welcome to apply.

About The Role
As an Assistant Controller at Claroty, you will play a key role in supporting the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will manage the end-to-end financial reporting process, oversee payroll operations, and contribute to the organization's overall financial health. Responsibilities
As an Assistant Controller, your impact will be:
- Financial Reporting & Closing: Support month-end, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, ensuring the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
- Payroll Management: Supervise the payroll team and maintain accurate records while ensuring compliance with global laws and tax obligations.
- Compliance & Audit: Lead the preparation for audits and income tax filings, working closely with external auditors and staying current on accounting principles.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the finance department and financial systems.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and support cross-functional collaboration to gather information for strategic decision-making.
What you need to succeed in this role:
- Professional Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and CPA certification (Must).
- Proven Experience: 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably having graduated from one of the Big 4 accounting firms.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of accounting principles (ASC 606) and financial reporting (US-GAAP).
- Analytical Mindset: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong attention to detail with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-Motivation: A proactive approach with the demonstrated ability to work independently and drive projects forward.
- Industry Advantage: Experience in the SaaS/high-tech industry and familiarity with NetSuite ERP (Preferred).
