About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and highly motivated Bookkeeper to join our Israeli Bookkeeping team, reporting directly to the Senior Bookkeeper. In this role, you will be in charge of several financial processes and making sure they are properly handled. You will collaborate closely with the procurement and delivery teams, internal departments, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless financial processes and internal controls.
Responsibilities
As a Bookkeeper, your impact will be:
- Core Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day accounts payable management and reconciliations, Mesh, Navan employee expense reimbursements and administration, and bank payments to vendors.
- Month-End & Financial Reporting: Assist with month, quarter, and year-end closing procedures. You will also own bank reconciliations and bank account maintenance.
- Process Leadership & Compliance: Own the expense reimbursement process in Navan and other processes within Finance, support and operate robust internal controls, and assist with external audit processes.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for financial processes and collaborate with other departments to make sure the financial reporting and bookkeeping process is accurate. You will also communicate with external bookkeeping firms we work with for our subsidiaries and guide them from time to time on our processes.
Requirements
What you need to succeed in this role:
- Experience: At least 3 years of bookkeeping experience in a global high-tech environment.
- Education & Certification: Bookkeeping Certificate Type 3 is a strong advantage.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, complex reporting). Knowledge of NetSuite - must.
- Language & Communication: High-level English proficiency with excellent communication skills and a strong team-player mindset.
- Soft Skills: High work ethic, ability to handle multitasking and independent execution, deep professional bookkeeping knowledge, and a positive "Yes I Can" attitude.
- Accountability - making sure processes are completed on time. Flag discrepancies and ensure proper controls for process accuracy and completeness.
