CropX Technologies is an exciting well-funded start-up, with over 80 employees globally.

We are now looking for a passionate and highly motivated Sales and Business Development Manager, New Zealand to join our awesome team.

The main office is in Wellington, New Zealand.

This role is remote, based in the South Island, preferably in Christchurch or Ashburton.

Reporting to the Head of Sales, Australasia, who is based in the Perth, Australia.

As a B2B salesperson, you will be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales targets, whilst also supporting our dealers’ sell-through to farmers and advisors.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, generate, and report on business activity to deliver the sales growth targets for NZ.
  • Establish and support long-term business relationships within the market.
  • Build and progress a significant sales pipeline, contributing to the company’s revenue.
  • Lead accurate and engaging technical demonstrations and training sessions on the CropX products and solutions.
  • Manage relationships with partners including distributors, key customers, agronomic advisors, and other commercial relationships. Primarily, this will focus on day-to-day sales and marketing activities.
  • Manage internal operations and customer service requirements to exceed customer expectations and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Requirements

    ● 5+ years of sales and/or business development experience in new markets.

    ● Must have experience in Agriculture and Technology, with a wide, relevant network.

    ● Great negotiation skills.

    ● Excellent business acumen, creative problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

    ● Excellent project management, communications, presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

    ● Able to self-motivate, use initiative, and work independently and as part of a remote team.
