Job Description
NPI
- Collaborate with the Boston office, and CM for the CM projects to ensure all the test hardware, software, and data platform work implemented in the CM successfully
- Review, guide, and approve the JDM partner’s test hardware and software. Ensure all the data from JDM are well integrated into Formlabs data infrastructure.
- Analyze data to identify the problem and drive the problem-solving across Formlabs Boston offices, APAC office, and CM/JDM,
MP
- Review and approve test-related ECOs and ensure proper implementation at CMs
- Maintain all test-related hardware (e.g. Jigs and Fixtures) and computers. Manage CM maintenance schedules for test hardware
- Monitor and report test yields across all Formlabs manufacturing lines
- Assist in developing and updating test documents and standard operating procedures
- Work to reduce test cycle times via process improvement and test optimization.
- Identify opportunities to enhance testing methodologies, tools, and process to optimize product quality
Troubleshoot
- Write queries to help support manufacturing yield dashboards, ad-hoc data analysis, and other data analysis work supporting PM and Manufacturing Engineer
- Create and maintain test documentation (procedures, processes, tools, etc) and work with the Formlabs Factory Software team to debug and troubleshoot new tests.
- Execute preliminary steps of a root cause analysis and report findings when new yield issues arise.
Others
- Write test scripts to support factory and CTL(China Test Lab) testing needs
- Contribute to the FSW strategy of where and how we should integrate with our production lines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering/ computer science/data science or equivalent with 5+ years experience
- Strong programming skills with SQL and Python and experience in developing scripts and tools
- Experience in Linux (Ubuntu)
- Prior experience working with electromechanical products, consumer products, or industrial automation is a must
- Extensive experience working as the direct interface to contract manufacturers with new product introductions is required
- Self-motivated, willing to change the status quo, and being able to work with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented
- Strong English technical communication and organizational skills
- Overseas degree is a big plus
- Travel up to 40% of the time
