Buyer

We are looking for a Buyer to join our Operations and Supply chain team.

Your Team

The team is responsible for all the operations and supply chain activity including planning, purchasing, logistics, Quality and Engineering. The team mission is to deliver goods in time, quality, and cost according to the project’s objectives

Your Position

Purchase goods, materials, and services in the field of mechanical, sub-contractors and electronics, to assure the needs of the operational and R&D needs, considering price, quality, and schedule.

Report to Procurement Manager.

What you'll do

  • Purchase mechanical goods, parts, components or services with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets
  • Responsible for day-to-day procurement from the demand phase, quotes, negotiation, terms, delivery till payment.
  • Cost reductions measurement and targets.
  • Follow-up, track, and expedite goods/services purchases to meet schedules
  • Identify alternate sources for components with better cost/quality/delivery
  • Be the Procurement focal point in front of Planning, Logistics, Finance and R&D

Requirements

Who you are

  • 4+ years of experience in procurement in high-tech company in Israel.
  • Experience with the sourcing of products/parts and negotiation terms.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, Team player who can work independently and within a team.
  • Strong skills in ERP software - advantage Priority
  • Ability to read and review mechanical drawings and production process - advantage
