VP Product

israel / USA / Full-time

InsidePacket is redefining how network operators deliver services. Our NaaS platform is live in production at Tier 1 operators, powering on-demand enterprise networking, AI connectivity, and managed edge services. We’re the MEF NaaS Vendor of the Year, profitable, growing, and scaling fast across the US, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

We’re looking for a VP Product who wants to own the product vision and roadmap for a platform that’s already proven in production, and take it to the next level. This isn’t a “build from scratch” role. The foundation is live. The customers are real. The challenge is scaling the product across multiple operators, geographies, and use cases simultaneously.

You’ll work directly with the CEO, engineering, and operator customers to decide what gets built, why, and when. If you thrive at the intersection of deep technology and commercial impact, this is your role.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision & Roadmap: Define and communicate the product roadmap across the full InsidePacket stack, from the network OS and orchestration layer through operator-facing portals, AI operations, sales tools, and marketplace products. Balance operator-driven feature requests with platform scalability and new market opportunities.
  • Multi-Operator Scaling: Architect the product to serve multiple operators simultaneously, each with different network topologies, service catalogs, and enterprise customer bases. What worked for one must work for many — without custom forks.
  • Release Management: Own the release cycle. Drive feature prioritization, sprint planning alignment, QA validation, and go-live coordination with engineering.
  • Customer-Facing Product Leadership: Join operator calls, demos, and technical evaluations as the product authority. Translate customer pain into product decisions. You’ll be in the room with CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and network architects at companies like Zayo, Comcast, Charter, Vocus, and Lightpath.
  • Strategic Direction & New Market Penetration: The opportunities ahead of us are growing and the directions we penetrate are evolving by the day. You’ll identify and evaluate emerging market opportunities — from AI infrastructure connectivity to managed security services — and shape how the product evolves to capture them.
  • Platform & Ecosystem Strategy: Define the platform extensibility vision — APIs, integrations, developer experience — that enables operators to embed InsidePacket into their operational and business systems. Think ecosystem, not just product.
  • Network Security Product Vision: Our platform sits at the intersection of networking and security. You’ll drive the security product strategy — from threat intelligence to zero-trust architecture — ensuring InsidePacket remains differentiated as a network security platform, not just a connectivity layer.
  • Market Positioning & Competitive Strategy: Own the product narrative that sets InsidePacket apart in a crowded market. Work with marketing and sales to translate product capabilities into compelling competitive differentiation across every operator conversation.

Job Qualifications:

  • 8+ years in product management, with at least 3 years leading product for a networking, telecom, or infrastructure platform company.
  • Deep understanding of networking and network security — you can hold your own in a conversation about BGP, MPLS, SD-WAN, firewalls, zero-trust, and threat detection without a cheat sheet. This is a network security platform company.
  • Experience shipping B2B platform products to service provider or enterprise customers.
  • Proven ability to manage a multi-product roadmap with competing priorities across different customer segments.
  • Strong technical communication — you can whiteboard architecture with engineers and present business impact to a CTO in the same afternoon.
  • Comfort operating in a startup environment where speed, ownership, and resourcefulness matter more than process.
  • Fluent in English. Hebrew is a plus.

Strong Advantage

  • Experience at a NaaS, SDN, NFV, or white-box networking company (Drivenets, Volta Networks, Arrcus, Pluribus, etc.).
  • Background in operator/SP product management — you understand OSS/BSS, service catalogs, order management, and provisioning workflows.
  • Experience with AI/ML-powered operations or AIOps products.
  • Background in security-adjacent product management — DDoS, threat intelligence, SASE, or SOC-related products.
  • Familiarity with MEF standards, LSO APIs, or intent-based networking.
  • Experience leading product through a scaling phase — from first production customer to multi-geography, multi-operator deployments.
