You'll partner with U.S. and international tax colleagues to run integrated tie-outs between Acquired Entity Trial Balances (AETB) and the Worldwide Trial Balance (WWTB), support post-acquisition integrations, build AI-driven workpaper automation, and help streamline the global tax return cycle.
What You'll Do
U.S. International Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Prepare complex worldwide compliance workpapers, including GILTI/NCTI, Subpart F, BEAT, M-1s/E&P, Section 163(j), Foreign Tax Credit (FTC), and FDII calculations.
- Own accurate, end-to-end completion of compliance forms (1120, 5471, 8858, 8990, 8991, 8992, 1120-F) using Corptax.
- Perform return-to-provision analysis, support CbCR reporting, and back up return positions with solid workpaper analysis.
Worldwide Compliance Transformation ("One Team, One Process")
- Participate in the unified AETB/WWTB tie-out process to cut prep cycle times and eliminate duplicate data collection across regions.
- Help build data-sourcing frameworks following the Workday ERP rollout, aligning general ledger structures (FDM) with tax compliance modules.
- Support standardization of global book-tax adjustments (DART/Fixed Assets, M&E, Share-Based Compensation, Intercompany Eliminations).
Acquisition Integration & M&A Support
- Help draft initial M&A tax disclosures, assess transaction tax compliance impacts, and prepare acquisition-related filings.
- Drive trial balance mapping and integration for newly acquired entities (AETB) into Salesforce's centralized tax engine.
Innovation & Process Automation (AI Adoption)
- Identify, design, and implement automated compliance workflows using enterprise AI tools (OpenAI, Claude, custom Slackbots) to cut down manual workpaper tie-outs.
- Act as a Corptax International Module power user, driving efficiency gains across the compliance cycle.
Global Collaboration
- Work closely with U.S.-based tax counterparts through regular sync cadences, while staying aligned day-to-day with India tax leadership.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of corporate income tax compliance experience at a public accounting firm (Big 4, Grant Thornton, BDO) or a multinational enterprise.
- Solid grasp of book-to-tax adjustments and tax methods of accounting.
- Hands-on experience preparing U.S. international tax forms (5471, 8858, GILTI/Subpart F) and Form 1120 components.
- Working familiarity with Transfer Pricing, CbCR, PFICs, Section 163(j), and M&A tax considerations.
- Hands-on mastery of Corptax (International Module); Workday ERP, Tableau, or Alteryx experience is a plus.
- Strong ownership mindset, tech-forward orientation, and comfort operating beyond traditional U.S. international tax boundaries in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written English for daily collaboration with U.S. and global partners.
