About the role:

As a Senior Geologist, you will collaborate with a team of experts and can shape the future of mining operations with our state-of-the-art technologies.

Key Accountabilities:

• Act as a trusted advisor to our clients, providing expert geological guidance on the implementation and utilisation of our revolutionary OreSense Platform.
• Conduct in-depth analyses of geological data, assisting clients in optimising their Mine planning and Grade control processes and enabling better decision making
• Provide support and assistance to clients, addressing any geological challenges they may encounter.
• Provide input into product management and Engineering team to drive product and process improvements.
• Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their geological objectives and working closely with them to achieve their goals.
• Contribute to the development of training materials and deliver geology-focused training sessions, empowering clients to harness the full potential of our technology solutions.
• Collaborate with the sales team, providing geological expertise during customer engagements, presentations, and demonstrations.

Key Competencies:

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related field. Master's or Ph.D. in Geology is preferred.
• Experience working as a geologist in the mining industry, with a solid understanding of mine planning, ore characterization, and grade control processes.
• Strong knowledge of geostatistics, geological modelling, and ore resource estimation methodologies.
• Proficiency in utilizing geological software and tools for data analysis, interpretation, and visualization.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex geological concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Experience in renewable commodities such as nickel, copper, lithium, cobalt, or rare earth elements is highly desirable.
• Foundational knowledge of Hyperspectral imagining, AI and ML will be highly regarded.
