Skylo’s direct-to-device service is now live on millions of activated devices across five continents, with more than 60 million square kilometers of coverage, in partnership with multiple satellite operators, mobile network operators (MNOs), Tier-1 chipset makers, and OEMs. Devices connected over satellite are managed and served by Skylo's commercial NTN vRAN, featuring a 3GPP standards-based cloud-native base station and core. Skylo provides anywhere, anytime connectivity solution that seamlessly roams between terrestrial and satellite networks. Our focus is on enabling connected services for people outdoors and connected workflows across three main verticals: mass-market consumer devices, automotive, and industrial IoT.
This role is located our Mountain View office where we are onsite 3 days a week in office.
How You Will Contribute
- Technical Guidance and Integrations
- Lead the technical integration of MNOs' network infrastructure with the Skylo Network to launch NTN network services.
- Guide and support MNOs & MVNOs engineering teams to launch new & existing features with Skylo
- Guide MNOs through commercialization, including device readiness, billing setup, and support processes.
- Comprehensive Technical Training and Enablement
- Provide comprehensive technical training on NTN technical aspects, including troubleshooting
- Offer ongoing support and access to relevant resources.
- Conduct regular updates and training sessions to keep various teams within MNOs up-to-date on NTN technology evolution.
- Technical Leadership, Collaboration, and Customer Advocacy
- Establish technical leadership with MNOs, positioning Skylo as a trusted advisor for NTN product development.
- Ensure product features are improved and added by creating a feedback loop with Sales & Product teams.
- Champion the needs of MNOs by sharing their feedback within the organization to continuously enhance our features and processes.
What We Look For

- 10-12 years of experience in Telecommunication
- Proven ability to lead and collaborate across different teams
- Capable of building and maintaining relationships with Mobile Network Operators (MNOs)
- Skilled at navigating complex organizational structures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to evolving requirements and priorities within the satellite and NTN connectivity industry
- Hands-on experience with network elements such as vRAN/ORAN, Core, and packet or signal gateway
- Deep understanding of LTE, VoLTE, and SMS/voice call flows, including PCAP trace analysis
- Practical experience implementing end-to-end products and networking infrastructure over terrestrial 3G/4G/5G or NTN networks
- Familiarity with networking protocols and components such as HTTP, DNS, NIDD, PDN, TCP/IP, and ICMP
- Familiarity with network latencies, RF, and Timing configurations

Additional information
The compensation range for this position is $184,500 - $230,600. This range reflects the low and high end of the range Skylo reasonably and generally expects to pay the hired candidate in this role.
