The role:
We are looking for a dynamic Decision Implementation Manager to lead the strategy implementation side of our decision engine team. This role is essential in driving the development processes for timely and effective market deployment of decision-making solutions. As the Decision Implementation Manager, you will oversee and enhance the technical aspects of decision system implementation, focusing on innovation, efficiency, and scalability.

What you’ll do:
As the Decision Implementation Manager, you will:
Development Leadership:
- Lead the lifecycle of decision system projects, from conception to deployment, ensuring adherence to timelines and technical requirements.
- Oversee technical aspects of system development, aligning with strategic goals.
- Manage and guide a team of Producers in implementing complex, data-driven solutions.
Technical Strategy and Execution:
- Craft and refine technical strategies for decision system implementation, emphasizing innovation and efficiency.
- Collaborate with various teams to integrate decision solutions into the broader system architecture.
- Pioneer the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to advance system capabilities.
Production Support and Improvement:
- Lead team members to respond to production issues to troubleshoot and remediate effectively.
- Improve technical operations processes and monitoring to address bugs quickly.
Team Management and Collaboration:
- Develop and mentor a high-performing team of Producers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the Decision Strategy Assurance team to ensure solutions meet quality standards.
What you’ll need:
- 8+ years of experience in software development and/or technical operations with experience in leadership role
- 3+ years experience in cloud architecture
- Experience with best of breed infrastructure solutions, including experience with Amazon AWS cloud services
- Experience with SQL, Python, S3 Buckets, software architecture and design
- Java/Kotlin experience nice to have
- Experience with cloud/AWS
- Understanding of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, security, and performance
- Experience managing a production/response team
- Leadership experience with end-to-end information security practices, compliance requirements, data privacy, sovereignty and confidentiality practices, security testing and auditing, and rapid response procedures.
- Knowledge of technical, operational and cultural structures required to scale teams in a high-growth environment
- Experience in the Fintech or Financial Services vertical highly desired
- Previous experience with Provenir or other Decision Engine required
- Previous leadership experience required
- Ability to work well in a constantly evolving work environment
Nice to have:
- Advanced Technical Skills: Familiarity with advanced programming languages or frameworks that could add innovative approaches to system development.
- DevOps Experience: Understanding of DevOps practices, which can facilitate smoother development, deployment, and operational processes.
- Data Analysis Skills: Ability to work with data analysis tools, which can be beneficial in understanding system performance and user needs.
- Fintech Industry Knowledge: Deeper insights into emerging trends and regulatory aspects of the Fintech industry.
- Change Management Expertise: Experience in managing change within organizations, especially in adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
- Communication and Leadership Training: Advanced courses or certifications in leadership and communication, enhancing team management and stakeholder engagement.
