The role:

We are seeking a Manager, Operations Analyatics and Reporting, who will drive decision-making by owning analytics and reporting for multiple business units across operations. This person will have a track record of learning business processes to understand the source data better, building out cleansed, modeled, and summarized data tables to make key data points more readily available for the team, and creating front-end reporting to support stakeholders.

What you’ll do:

  • Work cross-functionally with engineering and operations to ingest data from operational systems
  • Own the restructuring of data once engineering has brought it into Snowflake by utilizing SQL and Python via our team’s git repo
  • Lead the analysis of complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support operational decisions and strategic objectives
  • Oversee the compilation of comprehensive reports that provide a detailed overview of business operational performance
  • Manage the creation and dissemination of periodic reports and dashboards, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and relevance
  • Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) to present data in an engaging and informative manner
  • Develop actionable recommendations based on data analysis and present findings to senior management
  • Support policy and procedure formulation with evidence-based insights
  • Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Supervise and mentor a team of data analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
  • Ensure the team delivers high-quality work within tight deadlines and meets organizational goals
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify data needs, improve processes, and implement best practices in data analytics and reporting
  • Act as a liaison between the analytics and operations teams to ensure alignment and effective communication

What you’ll need:

  • 5-7 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, reporting, or a related field, with a focus on operations
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL and Python
  • Past record of transforming data into summarized data tables via git
  • Expertise in data visualization tools like Tableau
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Experience with workforce management data for a financial services company is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing data-driven strategies and projects
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
