The role:

SoFi’s Affiliate Marketing Team is seeking an Affiliates Manager to join us as we continue to rapidly expand our affiliate partnerships across multiple verticals. This role’s primary focus is the “Loan Platform Business” and the expansion of SoFi personal loans, and it may support other products such as Student Loans and Home Loans. In this role, you’ll work closely with the x-functional team to build and maintain the affiliate program, manage internal processes (including compliance, reporting & analytics, forecasting, etc.), and lead internal stakeholder and partner engagement.

What you’ll do:

  • Maintain a deep understanding of lead generation and the day-to-day operations of managing our affiliate partners and relationships.
  • Optimize and develop affiliate programs balancing growth, cost, and LTV, and strategically scale major affiliate accounts.
  • Drive innovative growth by collaborating with engineering teams to scale the Loan Platform Business
  • Highly self-motivated and success-driven professional, capable of generating internal and external relationships through own initiative.
  • Passionate about developing, closing and growing affiliate partnerships. Has the ability to optimize from lead to revenue through negotiations and is able to translate that data into actions.
  • Uses data to drive optimization decisions on performance campaign strategies, placements and creative
  • Develop forecasts and identify trends, areas of improvement and opportunities and recommends ways to improve performance
  • Support and lead enhancement of foundational affiliate capabilities and processes including Compliance, Analytics, Invoicing, and Operations.
  • Responsible for sourcing new partners, scaling volume efficiently using the data and forecasted goals within the channel.
  • Collaborate with the x-functional business team inclusive of Business Unit, Product Marketing, Data Science, and Engineering to achieve goals.
  • Work with senior leadership to develop internal strategy and structure for the Affiliate department that will support growth and long-term success.

What you’ll need:

  • 3+ years in Affiliate Marketing, with 5+ years of experience overall
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Data driven mindset and experience in optimizing and scaling partnerships and/or performance campaigns
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced performance driven environment
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrates knowledge of and adherence to compliance with state and federal regulations and laws as they pertain to this position.
  • Familiarity with data reporting & affiliate marketing platforms (Tableau, Impact, Snowflake etc.) a plus
  • Experience in the Finance industry a plus

Nice to have:

  • Passion for coding or data science background
  • Python, Snowflake, API development experience

The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
