The role:
SoFi is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead key work streams within our Membership, Rewards, and Subscriptions area. In this role, you will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and building new capabilities so we can create best-in-class experiences that help Members get the most out of their relationship with SoFi.
You will support and grow a product portfolio while working across every SoFi business and function, including engineering, design, marketing, finance, and operations. You will work closely with all members of this cross-functional team to deliver on exceptional value to our members and business.
As a product leader in our organization, you will be expected to inspire with your vision/roadmap, set ambitious goals, be gritty, and be accountable to results. You’ll play the critical role of bridging the technical and business worlds to deliver experiences that delight our members and drive our business forward.
What you’ll do:
- Build innovative solutions in a customer-centric environment
- Work closely with design and engineering partners to define product experiences that delight our members
- Work cross-functionally with business, marketing, operations, legal, compliance, and executive stakeholders to define and prioritize deliverables and translate customer needs into product solutions
- Create, communicate, and evangelize a product roadmap
- Write and refine product-requirement documents
- Oversee and prioritize product backlogs
- Own instrumentation and analysis to monitor product performance
- Communicate clearly and consistently with senior-level stakeholders
What you’ll need:
- 5+ years of experience in product management and related fields
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to summarize complex issues clearly and concisely
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical or non-technical discipline
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to define and deliver products on deadlines with a software engineering team
- Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners
- Superior written and spoken communication skills
- Experience presenting to executive management
- Data-driven and structured approach to analysis and decision-making
- A high-ownership mentality and accountability in your work
- Ability to lead and coordinate groups of people to make and execute plans
- Ability to work with remote teams
- Deep customer empathy and passion for helping people achieve their financial goals
Nice to have:
- MBA
- Previous experience in loyalty/rewards programs, subscriptions, and/or fintech
