We are hiring an exceptional Business Development Leader to join our Go-to-Market team and to form and manage strategic engagements with industry partners to accelerate our ideation processes and actual sales of our Fintech portfolio companies.

Business Development is central to executing Team8’s portfolio companies' roadmap. The right candidate will work with our portfolio companies to advance sales and support their partnership efforts by creating new relationships and leveraging Team8’s extensive strategic Fintech relationships.

We're seeking a driven business development leader to make a difference in our companies’ journeys, from inception and early days ideation to scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate introductions and partnerships with potential industry players to help drive the success of our portfolio companies selling to banks, fintechs, and enterprises; Play a crucial role in validating new products and market opportunities.
  • Develop and manage an expanding network of contacts, including potential design partners, customers, advisors, and validators, to support our current and future growth.
  • Help turn our GTM efforts into a repeatable asset, fostering deep win-win relationships
  • Research, map, and engage strategic people and partners that can help scale our distribution to a broader audience based on thesis-driven strategies.
  • Attend and coordinate executive engagement in the industry to meet C-level executives and strategic targets.
  • Segment, target, and cultivate a network of deep corporate relationships with C-level executives to accelerate our go-to-market strategy.
  • Capture, track, and analyze all business development activities within our CRM system, turning engagements into insights and measurable actions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in business development/channel roles with a proven record of success (a must) at a Fintech company.
  • Experience outrebounding and forming commercial/partnership engagements with global Fintech enterprises.
  • Expertise in relationship-building with C/VP level executives globally.
  • Analytical and tech-savvy, with experience in spreadsheets, reporting, and CRM systems.
  • Creative yet process- and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent English.
