We are seeking an entry-level IT Specialist to join our team. This position is key to ensuring a secure and reliable technology environment within our fast-paced fintech organization. The role focuses on supporting business operations, enhancing team productivity, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. The IT Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technology needs, optimize resources, and implement improvements that align with Panax's goals.

The IT Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technology needs, optimize resources, and implement improvements that align with Panax's goals.
What are you responsible for?
- Assist users with account logins, password resets, VPN connections, FW permissions, server access, certificates & more
- Setup, install, and configure new computers, networks, and software (Windows and Mac)
- Responsible for the Onboarding and Offboarding processes
- Support Microsoft AD and 3rd party applications and platforms (Google Workspace, Office 365, Zoom etc.)
- Compliance Oversight and Monitoring: manage, and continuously monitor and remediate compliance using dedicated platforms to ensure adherence to regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), industry certifications (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2), and internal policies.
- Support hardware problems (printers, projectors, peripherals, etc.)
- Working with vendors (Orders, support, licensing)
- Create and follow standard IT procedures
Who are you?
- Up to 2 years IT experience from military service or equivalent roles
- Experience supporting Mac, Windows
- Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented attitude
- Self-motivated and independent
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in IT systems
- Knowledge and experience with networking, Switches, VLANs, APs, etc
