About The RoleThe UberEats team is looking for sharp, highly motivated individuals to help build the Technical Account Management function! As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for the technical relationship for a group of Enterprise and Mid-Market partners across the LATAM region that wish to integrate their POS systems with the Uber Eats Platform. The TAM will work closely with our internal and external partners, including engineering, product, product ops, restaurant support, city operations, and regional operations, to optimize and handle merchant relationships by providing maximum value for Uber and its partners through integrations and technological solutions!
What You'll Do
- Provide technical consultation to key merchants and internal partners across LATAM to implement and successfully launch API integrations to optimize their operational flow, allowing them to achieve their maximum potential.
- Lead special projects to provide seamless, faster, and scalable integrations in LatAm improving the integration ecosystem and outsizing the team impact.
- Work with internal teams such as Account management, sales, central operations, strategic initiatives, etc providing a technical Northstar in the org.
- Be the technical client-facing point-of-contact for different brands mapping up to the CIO level, driving strategic initiatives to provide the best outcome for clients and our markets.
- Lead relationship management with prioritized ecosystem partners and vendors such as POS software providers, POS system integrators, technical consulting partners, and other 3rd-parties
- Assist with the rollout of new Eats API products and features
- Collect product feedback from partners and work with Central Product and Eng teams to prioritize feature requests
- Run the day-to-day delivery of Merchant integrations and work across all XFN teams to maintain existing integrations, jumping into technical conversations and troubleshooting to find root-cause solutions.
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- 3+ years experience leading and implementing partner technology integrations, but we will consider candidates with less experience if they meet our other requirements
- Proven experience successful communicating with strategic partners
- Strong understanding of technical concepts and solutions such as API’s, middleware, SDK’s & Analytic tools
- Demonstrated project and program management skills - Able to lead multiple complex engagements simultaneously and move them forward according to project timelines
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Outstanding teammate with track record to lead through influence
- Detail oriented with the ability to thrive in fast paced, ambiguous environments
- Willingness to travel to engage client IT teams and stay productive and professional on the road
- Entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to act effectively with only high-level direction is also crucial
- Ability to write SQL to retrieve data and perform intermediate-level analytical operations to glean business insight:
- Manipulating data to answer business questions.
- Sorting, filtering, manipulation (calculation).
- Grouping, aggregating, and pivoting of data.
- Nested queries, and joining of data (inner join, left/right outer join).
