About The RoleUber Eats is seeking a motivated Sales Manager who will help to boost our partner acquisition across Italy. As the Sales Manager, you will focus on growing and coaching a strong sales team. Your team will be responsible for expanding our SMB restaurant base in our active cities and for the next launches. You will work together with Territory Managers, your peers and the Head of Sales & Enterprise on building and implementing the acquisition strategy. An ideal candidate is both team obsessed as well as performance-driven and thrives in an “all hands on deck” environment.

The Sales Team introduces restaurant partners to Uber Eats and accompanies them on their first trip. This way we can offer the best possible restaurant portfolio to our customers.
What You'll Do
- Play a key role in the Sales Team; Be responsible for increasing the number of our partners in all our active and future cities across Italy
- Build and develop a successful team to drive mutual growth for our restaurant partners and Uber Eats
- Be responsible for the entire sales process with new partners to source and negotiate the best restaurants in the new cities
- Create a strong team culture that attracts top talent internally and externally
- Develop best-in-class, indispensable partnerships between Uber Eats and restaurant partners by empowering your team to be customer focused
- Facilitate focused and productive collaboration within your team and with your cross-functional partners
- Be an internal and external thought partner with senior stakeholders in regard to the future of food delivery, restaurant partnerships and restaurant acquisition
- Support with key performance indicator analysis; Being proactive by identifying areas for improvement for Sales Team performance
- Employ critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to navigate complex problems.
- Minimum 4+ years of Sales experience in a high-growth company; ideally B2B experience
- Minimum 2+ years of people management
- A track record of steadily growing business through the sales activities
- Proven history of coaching team members to develop skills and grow their careers
- Strong use of insights and data-driven decision-making to inform the sales process
- You take accountability and are determined to get things done: no job is too big or too small
- Ability to adapt to changes
- Great interpersonal skills with the ability to convince and persuade. You don’t take no for an answer
- Effective written and verbal communication in both English and Italian
- Self-starter and collaborative leader. Everywhere you go, you can't help but mobilize people, build things, resolve problems, get into the details, go above and beyond, and draw out the best in people.
