  • You will work on all indirect tax and employment tax initiatives and matters for the APAC region and report to the APAC Indirect Tax Lead.
  • Be part of a cross-functional team that works on rolling out new products and services in the region, working in an inquisitive, innovative way to drive improvements to processes, controls and reporting across the region and across operations.
  • Assist with the management of challenging tax matters, including tax litigation and tax audits.
  • Help lead interaction and knowledge sharing of indirect tax and employment tax developments, communicating changes and impact to the region, our HQ in San Francisco as well as the EMEA and LATAM mega regions, and working with collaborators to ensure implementation and compliance.
The Experience You’ll Bring
  • Finance, accounting and/or law degree.
  • Strong indirect tax and employment tax experience in APAC (preferably Australia and New Zealand) in industry, law firms, and/or Big 4 firms. Exposure to tax controversy, corporate tax and accounting would be a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and high-growth organisation, and in developing and sustaining relationships with internal and cross-functional collaborators, as well as external tax advisors and tax authorities.
  • Open to challenging projects outside areas of experience or comfort zone.
