About The RoleWe're looking for an inspiring marketing leader for one of Uber’s largest global markets, to help drive the business and the Marketing team in Australia & New Zealand and ensure Uber and Uber Eats are loved and trusted brands in daily life.You will be a key part of the APAC Marketing and the ANZ leadership teams, where you will help create the future of this category-shaping brand. You will be responsible for leading a talented group of marketers, providing strategic leadership, building a clear vision, overseeing large-scale and results-focused campaigns, driving a high-performance and collaborative team culture, and creating functional excellence and partnerships. You'll be in charge of the creation and execution of marketing plans and the management of creative development and execution to fuel consumer demand, drive brand loyalty, and strengthen our connection with eaters, riders, drivers and couriers.ANZ is a leading marketing for both Uber & Uber Eats globally, and a hub for innovation. The ANZ team are often first to tackle Uber and Uber Eats’ biggest challenges, and scale their work and insights globally. This is even more true within Marketing, where campaigns such as “Tonight I’ll Be Eating” have been born in Australia and scaled to all parts of the globe. As we tackle our new mission to reimagine our brands to help you Go Anywhere & Get Anything On Demand, ANZ’s role will continue to be critical in guiding our global path. This role is therefore an incredibly exciting opportunity for a brilliant marketing leader to build world-class programs to achieve our goals in ANZ and provide inspiration for Uber globally. Your Impact In Role
  • Provide leadership to your team and extended agency village to build the most cut-through and effective marketing programs in the industry. Uber ANZ has a history of building world-class marketing campaigns which have scaled globally, and you will carry that torch forward
  • Develop razor sharp marketing strategies, based on a deep understanding of the ANZ mobility and Delivery businesses and customers, to achieve our ambitious brand and business objectives
  • As a member of the ANZ leadership team, you will be the lead marketing POC for the ANZ Delivery and Mobility stakeholders (Operations, Policy & Comms, CommOps, etc) to build partnerships to delivery our marketing plans, and also shape the strategy and culture of the broader ANZ business
  • Provide exceptional leadership for your team, setting the culture, vision and organizational structure to enable them to do their career defining work
The Experience You’ll Bring
  • Extensive experience managing brand marketing teams and creating large scale integrated marketing campaigns locally
  • High marketing strategy capabilities and experience, with proven ability to diagnose market, brand and customer insights to set vision and make effective trade-offs to implement winning strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate and manage diverse marketing teams in a dynamic environment
  • Effective relationship management, capable of building strong partnerships with functional teams and stakeholders
