About The TeamUber Direct is a newly launched 'Delivery as a Service' product that allows merchants to leverage Uber Eats' vast network of delivery partners to fulfill last-mile-delivery service for orders on their own app and websites. Uber Direct has the potential to be our next multi-billion dollar business and is a meaningful requirement for our existing marketplace partners! About RoleAs a Senior Strategic Project Manager, you will help us seamlessly onboard new merchants to our Direct platform. You will lead cross-functional internal teams to deliver on-time merchant launches. You will also be the main point-of-contact for enterprise merchants during their onboarding journey and help guide them through the process. As Uber Direct is a new business, you will be responsible for creating scalable processes that can be repeated for all types of clients. Your Responsibiltiy Will Include
  • Lead complex, large-scale merchant technical integration projects; collaborate across business and technical stakeholders to achieve on-time, seamless merchant launches
  • Create longer-term scalable processes for early clients that can be replicated over time; identify and implement opportunities to automation and process improvement
  • Serve as the Uber point-of-contact key enterprise clients; manage merchant questions and offer consultative support as challenges arise
  • Collaborate internally to identify new product requirements or business processes needed for ongoing merchant integration success
Basic Requirements
  • Minimum 6 years experience leading complex projects, ideally in the Tech industry
  • Exceptional communication skills with all levels and across functions (including senior client stakeholders and internal technical resources)
  • A go-getter attitude; you’re willing to take a hands-on approach to get the job done and bias towards action
  • Highly collaborative; you know how to engage and mobilize multiple teams to drive execution towards shared goals
  • Business language fluency in English and Japanese
