About The RoleUber Eats path to success is a result of a hyper local presence, involving our merchant partners, couriers and customers. The Account Manager embodies this strategy by driving the growth of specific cities, areas and partners, both on the topline (orders and clients growth) and bottom line (average basket), with a strong focus on the partner's dimension & experience of the marketplace. This role is an opportunity to help grow Uber Eats across the Uber Eats Everywhere territory with a strong sense of ownership. This role calls for a combination of an operational attitude, analysis of performance and exceptional relationship management. You should thrive in an "all hands on deck" environment, love solving problems, and above all be passionate about our partners.
What You'll Do
- Be in charge for driving our business performance for your assigned territory and/or portfolio
- Build the best restaurant offering. You will identify key restaurant partners to acquire to keep enriching the selection already available on the platform, and coordinate with our sales team to make sure you close the deal.
- Manage day-to-day communication with portfolio of Uber Eats partners: respond to inbound support issues and inquiries professionally and compassionately, assist in ongoing technical setup and account changes, while ensuring tools and resources are best applied and well understood by our restaurant partners
- Tackle or escalate complex support issues for timely resolution for our top restaurant partners
- Champion deep relationships with top restaurant partners, identifying and acting on opportunities to grow their delivery business, ultimately improving their financials, marketing efforts, engagement and satisfaction. You'll be a key influence in their delivery business
- Seek for and achieve restaurant industry deep understanding to identify further options to keep developing the service (opening hours extension, new suburbs to cover...)
- Drive on-the-ground knowledge and context about the city you operate in to the wider team
- Act as an ambassador of mission, brand, and product to our restaurant partners
- Build strategic relationships to gain positioning with decision-makers while driving growth of new business
- Desire to work with restaurants/merchants & building a strategic partnership, being proactive, creating positive and lasting relationships to bring them added new value and helping them to reach their potential on Uber Eats
- Proven experience in an account management role, but we will consider a range of backgrounds
- Excel proficiency and an interest in dealing with numbers and analysis
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to persuasively communicate recommendations and effectively champion customer needs
- Ability to take initiatives and easily adapt to constantly-changing work environments.
- Project Management: good organization, prioritization & time management skills
- Highly autonomous - able to work with minimal oversight
- Professional proficiency in English and German
