About The TeamLocated in Krakow, our team centralizes work for Uber Rides & Uber Eats, covering mega-regions like the United States & Canada, as well as Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Our mission statement is: backing creativity with operational efficiency.We help Uber scale and gain efficiency by performing work around two main pillars:

• Analytics & Automation - data analysis, query & dashboard creation, process automation
• Process - design, execution & optimization of business processes.

What You'll Do

• Write Scripts to automate actions, increase quality of execution and improve efficiency
• Propose innovative approaches to solve complex business problems, at scale
• Present your work to both technical and non-technical leaders
• Distinguish areas of improvement, conduct root cause analyses, then build data-driven strategies for process optimization and overall project improvement

Basic Qualifications

• Written and spoken fluency in English
• Currently enrolled in a Masters or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Informatics or a related field
• Availability to follow the internship full-time, for 3 months, starting February 5th, 2024
• Working rights in Poland (No sponsorship available)

Preferred Qualifications

• Good knowledge in Python
• Knowledges in SQL, Google Scripts, Google Sheets would be a plus
