Role OverviewRestaurant Partners are the backbone of Uber Eats, allowing us to create outstanding consumer selection and powering the growth of our platform as we innovate and expand our suite of products. As Director of Restaurants, Uber Eats ANZ, you are a business owner who will drive the growth strategy and customer experience for our 35k restaurant partners. You will lead the end of end customer experience from acquisition through to account management, and oversee our local efforts with a wide range of partners from very large global enterprises to local SMBs. You will lead multiple motivated teams across sales, customer growth and operations, bringing great talent to Uber and creating a compelling employee experience for all of our teams.This is a unique opportunity to play a key leadership role within the Uber Eats leadership team. We need an experienced leader and business manager to build world-class sales teams and strategies and who is passionate about developing our B2B organization at Uber. You are a highly motivated self-starter, a strong strategist who is skilled at translating ideas into execution and results, and an inspiring leader who thrives in a dynamic and fast-moving environment. What You’ll Do
  • Build and run a world-class customer organization across ANZ, spearheading our efforts across sales, account management and restaurant operations
  • Inspire and develop your team and hire world class managers and leaders to Uber
  • Develop and instill a culture of focus, integrity, and results in your team
  • Be a strategic thought partner to our regional leadership team as we accelerate business growth
  • Develop and execute on go to market strategy that scales a range of new products (e.g. white label delivery, martech and advertising products) and delivers on multiple objectives
  • Spearhead our efforts to strengthen our account management engine as we launch and scale new products
  • Represent Uber in the restaurant industry, partnering with industry associations and leading executive relationships with key partners
  • Build out KPIs, metrics, and processes that result in an effective organization, in partnership with sales operations
  • Drive quantitative data analysis, deep actionable insights, modeling, and analysis
  • Be able to execute in short-term sprints while maintaining a vision for long-term sustained success
  • Work closely in a matrixed environment with local operations, marketing, strategy, analytics, design, engineering, finance and other senior leadership in the region and at HQ to set clear targets for regional strategy.
What You’ll Need
  • At least 12+ years experience leading businesses and teams, including leading and inspiring large teams and managers
  • Exceptional business judgment and critical thinking skills with the ability to develop and implement complex go to market strategy
  • Experience leading sales, account management and/or sales operations organizations in a world class organization; experience driving analytical approaches in a data driven environment
  • Experience working closely and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders including product and engineering teams in an ever-changing, rapid growth environment
  • Track record of success in growing a customer base and delivering on ambitious business goals
