About The RoleThe UKI Delivery Strategy & Planning team supports the UKI Uber Eats Leadership team to define our strategy globally, as well as working collaboratively with global functions and markets to assist with identifying areas to improve alignment and execution. The Strategic Initiatives Lead role is at the intersection of strategy and implementation. The role is responsible for the delivery of critical cross-functional strategic priorities for the business, building and implementing projects, programs and capabilities which solve the most pressing challenges and opportunities for the Uber Eats UKI business. What You'll DoAs Head of Strategic Initiatives, you will be responsible for scoping and executing high priority business programs and projects to respond to the most pressing needs of the UKI Delivery business, leveraging cross functional resources, and delivering projects and programs critical to the execution of the overall strategyTranslate ambiguous questions, drive analysis and synthesise findings into clear strategic recommendations to leadership, using quantitative and qualitative data to build strategies and inform decision makingBuild and incubate capabilities and operations through the full project lifecycle from strategy and scoping, design and build, implementation and integration into the businessIdentify operational and structural weaknesses and help improve existing or develop new processes to keep the business as efficient as possible Basic Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in related field, including consulting, technology, analytics, operations, and strategy
