About the role and team

Working at Uber means solving hard problems in a high-stakes, fast-moving environment. You’ll need to take ownership, stay adaptable, and build with both urgency and care. If you’re energized by challenge and motivated by real-world impact—this is where you’ll grow.

As a Marketing Manager I, you won’t just execute campaigns; you’ll navigate the messy reality of driving product adoption in a high-velocity market. This role requires a grit-heavy, detail-oriented mindset to help plan and ship full-funnel initiatives while balancing competing priorities across Operations, Product, and Comms. You’ll be trusted to build programs that deliver tangible business impact, thriving in an environment where the path forward isn’t always predefined but the stakes are always high.

What you’ll do

  • Navigate the end-to-end execution of field and retail marketing campaigns, managing tight timelines and asset reviews across multiple channels while ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Own workback schedules for complex projects, proactively flagging blockers and making tough prioritization trade-offs to maintain momentum in a high-pressure environment.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination across Marketing, Ops, and Analytics, aligning competing stakeholder interests to ensure campaigns hit business-critical goals.
  • Partner with internal creative and external agency teams to build consumer-centric work, pushing through the ambiguity of creative development to drive product trial and growth.
  • Support the backbone of campaign delivery by drafting sharp creative briefs, consolidating diverse stakeholder feedback, and ensuring every asset is accurate and on-brand before launch.
  • Collaborate with Analytics teams to gather data and QA tracking, translating raw results into directional insights that help the team learn and adapt fast.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in consumer marketing, consulting, or brand strategy with a focus on driving measurable business results.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related discipline.
  • Experience creating regional marketing strategies and establishing priorities in a high-growth environment.
  • Proficiency in commercial analysis and the ability to synthesize complex data points.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and fast-moving environments, staying steady and focused when under pressure or facing shifting priorities.
  • Strong organizational grit and a proactive mindset, with a track record of anticipating obstacles and taking the initiative to keep complex projects moving forward.
  • Skilled at synthesizing messy campaign inputs and performance data into clear, actionable summaries that drive optimization and next steps.
  • Experience collaborating with agencies and production partners to push through the creative process and ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Familiarity with key marketing performance metrics—such as conversion, engagement, and media mix—and how to tie them back to overarching business objectives.
