About the Role

Uber for Business is expanding beyond traditional B2B use cases and building new ways for companies, platforms, and partners to embed Uber into their own customer and employee experiences.

As a New Verticals Account Executive, you will help build and scale new revenue streams for Uber for Business in Brazil, with a strong focus on B2B2C opportunities, strategic partnerships, and channel-led growth.

Rather than focusing exclusively on selling Uber for Business directly to enterprises, this role will identify opportunities where Uber can become part of another company's product, benefit, loyalty program, customer journey, or technology platform.

A key part of the role will also be developing our channel strategy: identifying partners that can integrate with Uber's APIs and bring Uber-powered solutions to their own portfolio of business customers, creating scalable distribution models and unlocking opportunities beyond traditional direct sales.

This is an entrepreneurial role for someone who enjoys building new businesses, testing new go-to-market models, navigating complex partnerships, and turning emerging opportunities into scalable revenue streams.

This is a hybrid role — our team collaborates in person in our São Paulo office 3 days per week. We encourage employees to work from the office on additional days if they desire to do so.

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Identify, develop, and close new B2B2C opportunities where companies can leverage Uber products and APIs to create value for their customers, employees, or ecosystem.
  • Build strategic partnerships with companies looking to embed Uber experiences into their own products, platforms, loyalty programs, benefits, marketplaces, or customer journeys.
  • Develop and execute a channel partnership strategy, identifying technology companies, platforms, integrators, benefit providers, marketplaces, and other partners that can integrate with Uber APIs and distribute Uber-powered solutions to multiple business customers.
  • Explore scalable one-to-many distribution models, moving beyond traditional direct enterprise sales and creating partnerships capable of generating demand across entire customer ecosystems.
  • Lead the full commercial lifecycle of complex partnerships, from opportunity identification and business-case development through negotiation, contracting, integration, launch, and expansion.
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to design solutions that can scale across different industries and use cases.
  • Translate customer and partner problems into commercial opportunities using Uber's technology, including APIs and platform capabilities.
  • Build business cases and partnership models that clearly articulate value creation for Uber, the partner, the partner's customers, and end users.
  • Develop relationships with senior commercial, product, technology, innovation, partnership, and C-level stakeholders.
  • Identify emerging verticals, industries, and use cases where Uber can create new sources of demand.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of strategic partnerships and new vertical opportunities.
  • Provide structured market feedback to Product and leadership teams to help influence Uber for Business's product roadmap and go-to-market strategy.
  • Establish repeatable commercial playbooks that can transform successful pilots and partnerships into scalable growth engines.

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, platform partnerships, or related commercial roles.
  • Proven experience developing and closing complex commercial partnerships involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to identify new business models and translate customer problems into scalable commercial opportunities.
  • Experience building relationships with senior business, product, technology, and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including experience developing business cases, negotiating agreements, and structuring partnerships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and build new initiatives from the ground up.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with B2B2C business models, platform partnerships, embedded services, marketplaces, ecosystems, or channel sales.
  • Experience working with APIs, technology integrations, SaaS platforms, fintechs, loyalty platforms, employee benefits, mobility, logistics, or digital marketplaces.
  • Experience developing channel or indirect distribution strategies, particularly models where partners integrate a technology or service and distribute it to their own customer base.
  • Strong understanding of how APIs and technology platforms can enable new commercial models. Technical coding experience is not required, but candidates should be comfortable discussing integrations and technology-enabled solutions with product and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience launching new products, verticals, partnerships, or go-to-market motions in environments where the playbook is still being built.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate market size, unit economics, partnership economics, and scalability.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong bias toward experimentation, execution, and ownership.
