As a Risk and Compliance Specialist, you will work at the intersection of policy, regulatory requirements, and operational reality to ensure our platform remains safe and compliant. This role is about maintaining a high bar for accuracy while navigating the complex systems and data that keep our business moving forward.

What you’ll do

  • Support riders, drivers, couriers, and merchants during critical moments, helping turn uncertainty into clarity through empathy, speed, and sound judgment.
  • Perform data updates across multiple internal systems with precision, ensuring the accuracy of background checks and regulatory documents.
  • Execute basic research to identify patterns and generate insights that improve how we handle compliance and risk.
  • Adapt to evolving tools, policies, and workflows, helping turn complex requirements into focused plans of execution.
  • Identify and escalate issues that impact the community experience at scale, contributing to how our support systems improve over time.
  • Deliver on performance goals while keeping the real-world impact on our users at the center of every interaction.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in one of the following: compliance, banking, insurance, fraud, consulting, or a regulated area
  • Experience with Google Suite/Microsoft Office.
  • Prefer basic data analytics, SQL and web query skills.
  • Communication, attention to detail, time management, organization, presentation, stakeholder management, cross-functional partnership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven ability to stay sharp and think critically when faced with high-volume or ambiguous data sets.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills to manage a wide spectrum of stakeholder needs.
  • Systems thinking mindset with an interest in identifying and escalating issues that impact the community at scale.
  • Excellence in active listening and empathetic communication, particularly when dealing with complex or frustrated stakeholders.
