HCM Security Specialist I

About the Role
The HCM Security Specialist I is responsible for executing Oracle HCM security provisioning and supporting day-to-day security operations to ensure users have the appropriate system access. Based in India, this role provides offshore support by managing security requests and serving as the Tier 2 escalation point for our Manila-based support team. Working closely with the Security Product Lead, the specialist helps maintain the Oracle HCM security framework, supports audit and compliance activities, and contributes to ongoing enhancements of the Role Management Controls (RMC) and security processes.
What You'll do
- Ensuring timely and accurate Oracle HCM provisioning, modifications, and deprovisioning of user access in accordance with established security standards and SLAs.
- Partner closely with the HCM Product Lead to execute security enhancements, quarterly release activities, long-term system maintenance, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional People teams to troubleshoot security issues and continuously improve operations and governance.
- Support the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of Role Management Controls (RMC) to ensure accurate and compliant user access.
What You'll Do
- 3+ years of experience administering Oracle HCM Cloud Security.
- Experience provisioning and maintaining Oracle HCM security roles, security profiles, and data roles.
- Working knowledge of Role Management Control (RMC) principles and Oracle HCM security architecture.
- Experience managing work through JIRA or a similar ticket management system.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
Preferred Qualification
- Experience supporting a global Oracle HCM Cloud environment with distributed teams.
- Experience supporting security audits, access reviews, and compliance documentation.
- Familiarity with Oracle HCM quarterly releases, regression testing, and security governance best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements and partner effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
