About the role and team

Uber Direct is a high-stakes, "Delivery as a Service" product that bridges the digital and real worlds, enabling merchants to offer on-demand delivery from their own platforms. As an Account Manager, you will be at the front lines of this movement, managing relationships with top enterprise managers across retail, grocery, and logistics. This is a role for those who find purpose in tangible impact and are ready to own the growth of a new business line in a competitive market.

The work is fast-paced and requires a unique blend of strategic thinking and "in the weeds" execution. You will navigate complex stakeholder dynamics and technical integrations (API and Dashboard) while maintaining a resilient, customer-obsessed mindset. If you are energized by the challenge of building long-term partnerships in an ambiguous, evolving industry and are motivated by the scale of Uber’s courier network, this is where you will grow.

What you’ll do

  • Build and grow long-term partnerships by understanding what matters most to our enterprise customers—not just selling a product.
  • Navigate the technical and operational complexity of Uber Direct to unlock value for merchants across various verticals.
  • Manage merchant growth strategies with urgency, utilizing CRMs and quarterly business reviews to ensure consistent retention and expansion.
  • Adapt your approach based on market dynamics and logistics trends to craft joint business plans that move the needle for our partners.
  • Collaborate across operations, product, and legal teams to resolve blockers and improve the Uber Direct offering based on real-world feedback.
  • Communicate clearly and negotiate confidently with top-tier industry managers, staying resilient through tough conversations and shifting priorities.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience, ideally in an account management or relationship management role.
  • Fluency in English and native-level proficiency in the local language.
  • Experience performing financial, quantitative, and qualitative data analysis using Excel.
  • Demonstrated experience managing enterprise-level stakeholders or key accounts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the logistics, last-mile delivery, or retail industry.
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and solve complex problems without a predefined playbook.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills with a track record of creating mutual value in challenging deals.
  • A "go-get-it" attitude with experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced technology environment.

Ready to Ride?

This isn't the kind of place where you follow a playbook — it's where you help write one. If you're driven by impact, energized by challenge, and ready to shape how the world moves — we'd love to hear from you.
