About the Role

As a Technical Consultant working in our Customer Success organization, you have the chance to leverage your deep domain expertise to bring revolutionary new technology to customers across the automotive industry. Your role is part technical services, part product development and part business development. You will build critical bridges between different parts of Viaduct and our customers as you help customers get the most from our products while also contributing to the improvement of those products.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Success
    • Build great relationships with key users and stakeholders at our customers
    • Develop best practices relating to successful use of Viaduct’s products in quality and reliability processes
    • Create and deliver data-driven presentations that highlight ROI based on customer-specific data sets
    • Drive and support customer engagements for onboarding, adoption, and expansion contributing with basic data exploration and analysis, training delivery, and documentation.
  • Product Development
    • Working closely with our data science teams to help them become domain experts in vehicles and connected vehicle data.
    • Create and support development of Viaduct’s vehicle asset models based on your intimate knowledge of automotive systems and quality engineering.
    • Automate data mapping process to tie data science results to physical insights.
    • Identify and develop ideas for new products and features that leverage connected vehicle data, data science and software.

About You

  • 7+ years of experience in automotive industry
  • Intimate knowledge of one or more of the following
    • Vehicle mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
    • Quality engineering processes
    • Root cause analysis tools and techniques
    • NHTSA and other regulatory standards and processes
    • Automotive repair and maintenance operations
    • Fleet maintenance and general fleet operations
    • Data-analysis for engineering
  • Professional skills and Personal traits
    • Must be a motivated self-starter
    • Must have good problem solving skills
    • Curiosity and thirst for learning new things
    • Goal-oriented with relentless desire to add value regardless of the domain
    • Ability to manage multiple projects, setting clear objectives and driving toward results
