What We Are Looking For:

Viaduct’s business development team is searching for an experienced business development manager to lead early-stage development of market analysis and content to drive new business growth. This position is designed for a manager who has a strong business acumen and understands the automotive ecosystem, including the growth opportunity within the fleet segment. This manager will also have the ability to research and develop new market opportunities within construction, agriculture, and motorcycle industries, while coordinating marketing initiatives and creating strategies to achieve qualified lead opportunities. This manager will be responsible for analyzing market trends, identifying product line gaps within each industry and segment, and developing strategies to gain market relevance. The manager will have a focus on discovering new leads and establishing connections with influencers, partners, and stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Research new market opportunities to identify target audience and determine pain points.
  • Build out market analysis and competitive research for each industry and segment.
  • Develop marketing and promotional content to drive awareness and consideration.
  • Actively collaborate with product managers, solution architects, and engagement managers to align and enhance the GTM messaging throughout the sales funnel.
  • Create prospective customers list and build relationships for introductions.
  • Generate new leads and sales opportunities.
  • Present initial sales pitch to prospective customers.
  • Track leads performance and results to achieve established monthly goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Digital, or equivalent.
  • Excellent organization, presentation, digital, and management skills.
  • Must possess strong writing, speaking, and communication skills.
  • At least 10 years of experience in business development, market analysis, digital marketing, client acquisition, or sales.
  • Professional experience and/or interest in the automotive, fleet, agriculture/construction industry, or other equipment verticals.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects and tasks.
  • Ability to comfortably talk about data and AI.
  • Demonstrated record of building relationships with potential customers and closing complex B2B deals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
